Job Description
Job Title: Collections Specialist
Job Responsibilities:- Contact customers via phone and email to discuss overdue payments - Negotiate repayment plans and payment extensions with customers- Maintain records of all collection activities in the customer database- Research customer accounts to find updated contact information- Escalate unresolved accounts to the legal department as needed
Skills Required: - Excellent communication and negotiation skills- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail- Proficiency with databases and spreadsheet software- Ability to work independently and meet collection quotas- Minimum 1 year experience in an accounts receivable or collections role
