Field Project Manager
Full-Time | Hours vary based on project schedule
Crossville, TN and surrounding job sites
A local reputable construction company is seeking an experienced Field Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial construction projects onsite. This role is responsible for daily jobsite supervision, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, quality control, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and inspection-ready. The ideal candidate has strong construction knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily onsite supervision for residential and commercial construction projects
- Supervise subcontractors and field crews to ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and according to schedule
- Verify all work aligns with project plans, specifications, and construction sequencing
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite at all times
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure jobsite readiness for each phase of construction
- Track daily progress, manpower, weather delays, and material deliveries
- Ensure inspection readiness and meet with inspectors as needed
- Complete daily logs and provide regular progress updates to the office team
- Review invoices for accuracy and assist with budget and schedule updates
- Meet with customers onsite when needed and provide project updates
Requirements
- Experience in construction project management, site supervision, or foreman role
- Strong understanding of construction plans, jobsite sequencing, and building processes
- Experience supervising subcontractors and managing jobsite activity
- Ability to maintain safe and organized jobsites
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in the field
- Valid driver’ s license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
