A local vinegar manufacturing facility is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Shipper Receiver to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, and shipped while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

A local vinegar manufacturing facility is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Shipper Receiver to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring products are accurately received, stored, and shipped while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Direct incoming trucks to the correct dock doors, secure trailers (wheel chocks, airline lockouts), and verify trailer contents.
- Report damaged products to Quality Assurance before receiving.
- Match shipping documents with pick tickets and accurately stage orders using FIFO (First In, First Out).
- Double-check orders for dates, quantities, and quality before loading.
- Load and unload finished goods and raw materials onto trailers with accuracy and care.
- Complete shipping confirmations and print bills of lading for outgoing shipments.
- Rotate production inventory from the production floor to the warehouse.
- Serve as backup for forklift operations in production and materials handling.
- Assist with bottling line support when needed.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse and comply with food safety requirements.
- Forklift certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of forklift experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a food processing, bottling, blending, or consumer goods manufacturing/packing environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to use hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and on-call duty as needed.
- Ability to work in varied conditions including hot, cold, dusty, or strong-smelling environments.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and climb throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. independently and 50+ lbs. with assistance.
