Shift
Rotating shifts and overtime as needed (specific schedule provided during interview)
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician with a strong background in heavy industrial environments to support the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment in Crab Orchard, TN. This role focuses on electrical and maintenance work within a demanding mine setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy industrial equipment
- Work with high-voltage systems, motors, conveyors, and belt systems
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-controlled equipment
- Diagnose electrical failures and minimize unplanned downtime
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, PLC logic, and technical documentation
- Follow all safety policies, MSHA requirements, and company procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to support production goals
- High school diploma or GED (proof required)
- Previous experience in heavy industrial environments such as sand, cement, paper, or similar industries
- Hands-on experience with high voltage systems, PLCs, motors, and conveyor/belt systems
- Ability to wear steel toe shoes and required PPE
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to pass required physicals
- Ability to complete MSHA training
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety and reliable attendance
