Job Description
SmallBizStaffing is a staffing agency focused on recruiting for small businesses. We are hiring an experienced Line Cook for our client, a popular local diner.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of foods according to recipes and quality standards
- Fry, grill, and prepare foods such as meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and sauces
- Prepare ingredients and assist other cooks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ensure proper food storage and handle food safely
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience as a line cook
- Knowledge of various cooking methods such as frying, grilling, and food preparation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy equipment
- Strong communication and time-management skills
