Job Description
This position requires knowledge of all regulations affecting lending. Requires a thorough knowledge of credit union policies and procedures.Displays a courteous, cheerful, positive demeanor with every member, co-worker, and supervisor.Use the members’ name at least twice during a phone conversation or in person. Comments “Thank You” or
“Have a Good Day” during the closing of the transaction with a smile.
Provides members with helpful information on credit union products that match the members’ needs.
Posts all transactions accurately and efficiently while keeping errors to a minimum.Understands and promotes the features and benefits of the following services: Checking, Savings, Individual
Retirement Accounts, Home Banking, iPay, iTalk, Remote Deposit, E-Statements, New/Used Auto Loans,
Personal Loans, Line of Credit.Responds to members’ requests, problems, and complaints, resolving issues, and/or directing them to the
appropriate person for specific information and assistance. May handle more complex questions and problems.Regularly reviews emails, attends meetings, or webinars to ensure current knowledge and responsibility.Always performs job to the best of his/her ability.Keeps all credit union business confidential. Will NEVER discuss a member or credit union operations to the
public.
Dresses and grooms neatly always consistent with dress code.
Satisfactorily performs credit union assignments, goals, and objectives.
Interacts with co-workers to facilitate a positive, productive, working relationship(s). Shows respect to co-workers
and supervisors by offering to assist all through the day.Ensures that personal and departmental work areas are maintained to credit union standards.Assist members and employees with basic questions regarding lending services.Performs other reasonably related job responsibilities such as Loan Processor Clerk and any other assignment
given by upper management.
