We’re seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support a short-term process improvement and facility layout project within a manufacturing environment in Sparta, TN. This role is hands-on and focused on optimizing workflow, equipment placement, and overall efficiency using Lean manufacturing principles.

We’re seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support a short-term process improvement and facility layout project within a manufacturing environment in Sparta, TN. This role is hands-on and focused on optimizing workflow, equipment placement, and overall efficiency using Lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Support and execute process improvement and layout redesign initiatives
- Analyze and optimize plant layout and facility flow to improve efficiency and throughput
- Conduct value stream mapping to identify waste and improvement opportunities
- Create, modify, and maintain AutoCAD layout drawings
- Lead equipment placement and optimization efforts
- Apply Lean manufacturing concepts to drive measurable improvements
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams throughout the project
- Proven, hands-on experience with:
- Plant layout and facility flow
- Value stream mapping
- AutoCAD
- Lean manufacturing concepts
- Equipment placement and optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred
- Ability to contribute quickly and effectively in a project-based, temporary role
- Weekly pay
