Restaurant General Manager

- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including kitchen management, banquet service, and cash handling.- Ensure high-quality food and beverage service, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.- Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor food preparation to meet customer demand. - Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. - Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and specials. - Monitor financial performance, analyze sales data, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role.- Strong knowledge of food service management principles and practices.- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. - Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation standards. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Effective communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and vendors.
Culinary or kitchen experience is preferred but not required for this position.
