Sales & Estimating RepresentativeCrossville, TN$25-40 per hour, depending on experience and personalityLight local travel may be required
A local construction and fabrication company is seeking a motivated and personable Sales & Estimating Representative to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a construction background who understands how jobs come together - from plans to production - and enjoys being the face of a company. While structural steel knowledge is strongly preferred, the are open to doing some training for the right candidate who has a solid construction foundation, strong work ethic, and the right attitude.
Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate job estimates based on specifications and site information
Communicate with customers, contractors, and internal teams regarding project scope and pricing
Support sales efforts by building relationships and representing the company professionally
Conduct light travel within and surrounding Cumberland County as needed
Assist with bid follow-ups and project handoffs
Act as a positive, enthusiastic representative of the company

Requirements:

Construction background required (fabrication, steel, or structural experience a plus)
Basic understanding of construction terminology
Structural steel knowledge preferred, but trainable for the right candidate
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable speaking with customers and selling company capabilities
Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
