We're seeking a Vinegar Processor Operator I at a Crossville, TN facility. This hands-on, on-site position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for operational excellence in food manufacturing.? What You’ll Do:
- Operate vinegar processing systems safely and efficiently.
- Follow all GMP, OSHA, Food Safety, and company safety protocols.
- Read and follow production schedules to produce accurate vinegar types and quantities.
- Assist with equipment start-up, monitoring, shutdown, and sanitation procedures.
- Inspect tanks, pumps, valves, motors, and related systems to ensure they’re in working order.
- Identify and troubleshoot production issues.
- Monitor production processes via systems and adjust as needed.
- Assist with laboratory testing and log results to ensure product integrity.
- Clean tanks, equipment, and work areas according to the master cleaning schedule.
- Ensure all production processes are accurately documented.
- Perform inventory checks and participate in month-end counts.
- Work closely with team members and management to maintain operational flow and quality standards.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in food processing, liquid filling/blending, bottling, or manufacturing preferred.
- Familiarity with measuring acidity, alcohol levels and using standard hand tools.
- Strong math, computer, and documentation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Must be able to work in hot/cold conditions and wear PPE as needed.
- Willingness to work overtime, varied shifts, or on-call as required.
- Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs., with assistance for heavier loads.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, and reaching required.
